Do You Know Your Triggers?
These are those tough tricky moments when you ‘momentarily’ give up on all the good eating habits you’ve been working on. As logical as humans can be we are also very emotional and if you look at your day, you’d be surprised at how many different things have the potential to trigger us into unfavourable habits.
The question is Do You Know Yours?
Your triggers might be:
- Stressed at work?
- Do you find that when work is getting on your nerves you end up binging and eating crap?
- Partner upsetting you?
- You’ve had a conflict with your partner. Do you get down and then you end up binging?
- Lacking in sleep?
- Your lowered energy levels gets you craving all day.
- Your colleagues in the office
- They’re all eating desserts at lunch and offering them round the office. Do you normally get tempted? This then gets you sweet tooth going for another few days?
- It’s 3pm at the office
- The wave of madness has calmed down, you’ve done all you can do until you get an email back from your college. Feels like lunch was ages ago and now dinner feels even further away. Sweet tooth craving kicking in?
